Explore new heights of sensuality in this return to the world of the Psy—where two people who know evil intimately must unlock the good within their icy hearts…
As an Arrow, an elite soldier in the Psy Council ranks, Judd Lauren was forced to do terrible things in the name of his people. Now a defector, his dark abilities have made him the most deadly of assassins—cold, pitiless, unfeeling. Until he meets Brenna…
Brenna Shane Kincaid was an innocent before she was abducted—and had her mind violated—by a serial killer. Her sense of evil runs so deep, she fears she could become a killer herself. Then the first dead body is found, victim of a familiar madness. Judd is her only hope, yet her sensual changeling side rebels against the inhuman chill of his personality, even as desire explodes between them. Shocking and raw, their passion is a danger that threatens not only their hearts, but their very lives…
Finally an Arrow. I was so excited to read about Judd, not simply because he is an Arrow, but because they had teased him in previous books. There is always those few characters ( like Vasic and Hawke) who you just can’t wait to read their story. This book did not disappoint me.
Brenna seems to be just the woman to take on Judd Lauren. She was tortured, but not broken, and tenacious enough not to bake away from his cold ice. She fights not only for herself, but for the man she would call her mate. I absolutely loved her as a person. She is strong and independent and unwilling to let a monster consume anymore of her life.
Judd is protective of Brenna without realizing at first , the emotions that drove him. There is a slow burn of chemistry and frustrating conversations. He is not any less dominate then the wolves who surround him.
As always Singh manages to weave a steady storyline that drops in different threads of the many she has pulled in this series. While “Caressed By Ice” is a stand alone, to understand this world, you should read the others in the series. The book isn’t just about sex and chemistry, family and politics plays heavily in the mix. The bonds of pack and the family you make are also important. To me this book has it all and rounds out the series.
I hope you enjoy the series as much as I do. Thanks for reading.
Stay witchy! 🙂
